Lush spring florals in plum and peach and gorgeous lace wedding dresses make today’s shoot the perfect fit for a romantic vintage bride! Heather Hawkins Photography and Stefanie Miles wanted to create a shoot celebrating the natural beauty of spring, incorporating organic textures, luxurious lace, and delicate flowers.
The hauntingly beautiful Trinity Institute in Texas added a dramatic backdrop to the elegant beauty of the shoot. Floral legends Bows & Arrows created romantic spring florals to complement the romance of lace gowns from Monique Lhuillier.
A vintage-inspired long sleeve lace dress and an intricate braided updo were perfectly complemented by a richly colored floral crown. Peach poppies and plum hellebore blossoms with trailing jasmine vines made a gorgeous statement topping the lace sheath gown. A sweet, strapless fit to flare dress was the perfect fit for a bouquet of peach and yellow poppies with delicate pops of spring lilac.
A gorgeous table set against the weathered paint of the interior drew on the delicate romance of the spring flowers. Vintage compotes filled with lilac and anemones shared the table with slim taper candles and fresh pears. Patterned china and crystal glassware sat ready to welcome guests to the graceful table, with hand lettered place cards at each setting.
