Accessories fit for a princess! The bride’s dazzling crystal heels were a perfect fit for the focus on romance at every turn of their wedding day – the crystal heels added another layer to her princess dress dreams by adding the perfect Cinderella moment!
These gold invitations look like something out of a storybook, thanks to the elegant vintage details and metallic finish on the Soul Mate invite cards and intricate laser cut Save the Date!
Daisy found her dream princess dress from bridal designer Jusere, pairing a full tulle skirt with a low necked bodice adorned with silk flower appliques. The romantic floral accents on the clean ball gown dress beautifully tied in with the lust garden flowers by Gather Design Company! The bride’s garden bouquet created a beautiful picture against her dress by using creamy blush flowers with ruffled textures – dahlias, garden roses, and chrysanthemums helped the blooms pop without bringing in contrasting color.
The highlight of their wedding day was the first moment the couple set eyes on each other during their First Look! Daisy said ‘Everything became real in that moment and I knew that this was our special day!’ The couple spent time in the gardens at Thornewood Castle, enjoying their pre-ceremony portrait session before their guests arrived.
Hair stylist and makeup artist Tianyao Su brought Daisy’s princess bride dreams to life by accenting her romantic bun updo with a delicate crown! The flowing veil and elegant flowers gave her look the perfect finishing polish.
Jixiong chose a classic navy tuxedo, pairing it with a black bow tie and crisp white pocket square for a timeless groom’s look!
The couple wrote out their vows as a keepsake to each other! The couple originally met in college while attending the University of Southern California, but didn’t go on their first date until they reconnected in San Francisco after graduation. Their first date took place in the beautiful coastal town of Half Moon Bay!
Gather Design Company brought every romantic’s dream to life for these garden wedding ceremony flowers! The ceremony arch was a celebration of color, with greenery and pink flowers that complemented the purple and blue hydrangeas blooming in the garden, incorporating the venue’s natural decor to create a layered pastel palette.
Flowerboxes lined the aisle to complete the lush and romantic feel, and tie in the white chairs set on the garden lawn.
The Solo Harp serenaded the intimate wedding with classical love songs as the couple walked down the aisle. Guests flew in from around the world to witness Jixiong and Daisy exchange vows, allowing the couple time to visit with everyone who had made the journey for their big day.
The bridesmaids wore mauve silk dresses from Vera Wang while the groomsmen looked sharp in light gray three piece suits with a blue tie to complement the groom’s tux!
The flower magic continued indoors! Gather Design took the opportunity to dress the Grand Staircase with ferns, flowers, and greenery that made it look absolutely enchanted for the bride and groom’s grand entrance!
Their planner FNMS Media Company kept the reception decor light and airy to offset the rich dark wood in the ballroom at Thornewood Castle. White china and tablecloths were accented by gold rimmed glass chargers and cut crystal votives, while elegant white and gold botanical print paper goods marked the table numbers and wedding menu.
Daisy made the first of three dress changes for their walk into the reception, wearing a slim lace off the shoulder dress that was perfect for visiting tables and spending time with each guest during the reception.

The bride changed into a tea length dancing dress that would have made Audrey Hepburn swoon for their First Dance – to complete the fairy tale theme, the couple chose ‘Tale as Old as Time’ from Beauty and the Beast!
Sunset photos over the lake gave Daisy and Jixiong the perfect ending to their fairy tale wedding day and the perfect beginning to their lives together!
