Preppy Southern Chic Summer Wedding Shoot

Prepare for the ultimate in preppy Southern chic with today’s stunning styled shoot! Real Couple Courtney and Tanner still had the newlywed glow when they took part in this romantic post-wedding shoot with Honey Gem Creative and Bee Lavish. A summer palette of coral and blue, paired with the bride’s modern preppy striped wedding dress gave a fun spin to their wedding day style!

Courtney and Tanner exchanged vows at Vista West Ranch in the middle of a thunderstorm. While the downpour and deluge of mud couldn’t stop this pair from celebrating their wedding day, it managed to put a damper on their carefully laid plans. Honey Gem Creative invited the newlyweds to take part in an after-wedding styled session at their venue to capture the portraits that they weren’t able to take on their wedding day – the result is a beautiful and completely heartfelt take on a styled shoot, with details from their carefully planned wedding incorporated alongside new and romantic details.

A vibrant summer-hued palette added a bold dose of color to the rustic ranch setting. Coral charm peonies and black and white anemones stood out in the bride’s bouquet and overflowing compote centerpieces. Courtney wore her wedding dress again, a romantic A-line silhouette with a sweetheart neckline and stripes of sheer organza and shiny satin. Her wedding day statement necklace and cluster earrings made another appearance, but this time her solitaire engagement ring was joined by twin diamond bands.

She and Tanner enjoyed the wild grounds they were unable to explore during the downpour on their wedding day. A romantic floral garland draped the outdoor ceremony arbor for the two to renew their vows, while a rustic vintage Sweetheart Table awaited them with mismatched chairs and an airy silk runner. Blue willow ware china and calligraphy escort cards adorned the white farm table, along with antique gold candleholders and those gloriously colorful centerpieces!
