Playful and Elegant Southern Blush Wedding with Floral Print

These high school sweethearts’ love story was ten years in the making, according to photographer and fellow alum, Audrey Rose. Anne and Aaron reconnected after college and careers pulled them apart, reaffirming their desire to spend their lives together. Their long history and deep family ties were reflected in their wedding day details – Anne used a sleeve from her mother’s wedding dress to wrap her lush garden bouquet, and repurposed the rest of the gown into an adorable retro frock to wear for the cake cutting and sparkler send off!

This wedding day could not have been more quintessentially Southern chic, from the bridesmaids’ monogrammed getting-ready shirts to the delicate lace details and rosebud theme for their florals. Anne’s heirloom bouquet was made of summer peonies and blush roses, with fresh mint and the aptly named Queen Anne’s lace. Pops of bold pink elevated their charming blush and gold palette, from the centerpieces to the watercolor floral print bridesmaid Lauren Brown Design used on their invitation suite, signage, and stationery! My favorite detail has to be the bride’s gorgeous braided updo with a petite jeweled chain woven through the intricate strands – such a delicate way to make a statement!
