Pewter and Plum – Luxe Vintage Wedding Inspiration in Silver and Purple

If there is a color combination that I will never get tired of, it would have to be purple and silver! It’s a palette that became incredibly popular over the years, but today’s pewter and plum board gives it a fresh take for a luxe vintage wedding! One of my favorite elements to work with is texture, and this design has it in spades. Whether it’s delicate chiffon dresses, vintage pewter vessels, raw silk ribbon, or polished gemstone jewelry, each individual texture adds up to a rich and luxurious whole.

Playing with color is a gorgeous way to personalize such a popular color combination – layering tone on tone hues creates depth. Play with a mix of purples – soft lilac, violet,  and rich plum work together in ombre florals or a mix of bridesmaid gowns for multifaceted color. Silver hues also blend well – the elegance of hewn stone paired with vintage metal platters and vessels in decor.
