Autumn is almost upon us so I thought I would celebrate with inspiration for an end of summer garden wedding! As excited as I am to dive back into sweater weather (I’m never long without a cardigan, to be honest) but I will definitely miss the wild florals and sweet colors of this summer, so both of them are present today. My vision for today’s peach and patina design was a playful but sophisticated wedding in the wildly overgrown garden of an old manor house. Rather than a perfectly pristine setting, the plants here have been left to grow in their own design, and have snuck back to claim the garden for their own. It creates a moody and romantic atmosphere, with added warmth and welcome from soft peach hues paired with dreamy jade..jpg)
Create spaces for guests to mingle on the reclaimed paths wandering between garden beds, set with standing cocktail tables, or lounge furniture clustered around mantelpieces overflowing with pillar candles. Eucalyptus, one of this season’s biggest trends for arrangements and floral design, adds a beautiful silvery green accent to centerpieces or escort card displays. Hold dinner underneath an arbor overgrown with lush foliage and vines, and adorned with vintage chandeliers to carry the theme into dinner.
