Pretty Written Things turned to the venue for inspiration when designing the gold ink wedding stationery! A hand drawn illustration of the stunning venue and calligraphy invitations with gold wax seals were chosen to echo the grandeur of the venue.
How epic is this ruffled wedding dress? Ysa Makino from Weddings by Debbie? The Houston, TX, area bridal salon provided the dramatic princess wedding dress with puffed off the shoulder sleeves and layer upon layer of artfully crafted ruffles gave the gown beautiful texture and dimension, while adding the most stunning Swan Princess look!
Master florist Intrigue Designs (did you catch The Big Flower Fight on Netflix?) dreamed up the sunkissed yellow wedding flowers to complement the gold tones used throughout the formal drawing room at The Olana. Even with just the bride and groom in attendance, the beautiful space feel filled with light, sunshine, and stunning floral details.
The bride’s exquisite yellow bouquet held a wild looking arrangement of yellow orchids, ranunculus, fire lilies, and fall foliage to add layered shade of the signature color.
Hair stylist and makeup artist Sunkissed and Made Up lived up to their name with the bride’s romantic wedding day makeup look to complement the yellow wedding flowers – her fresh and glowing beauty looked dazzling in the natural light, and her romantic half-up curled hairstyle frame her fame and showed off the off-the-shoulder wedding dress to perfection!
The stunning yellow wedding flowers were continued into the floral arch – set against stunning picture windows in the Solarium, the ceremony photos were bathed in beautiful natural light for M.V. Photography at this workshop hosted by Heather Benge Events!
This gown is stunning from any angle! The wild and whimsical bouquet of yellow flowers added a beautiful echo of the ruffled wedding dress skirt, tying in the rich texture used throughout the shoot while adding contrasting color to make each detail feel distinct and beautifully rendered in the wedding photos.
French country style influenced the wedding reception decor, with an intimate dining table dressed in a subtle gray on white paisley print from Nuage Designs. The soft watercolor pattern on the tablecloth added a cool tone to the wood and linen French country chairs and the golden foliage and yellow flower centerpiece!
Crisp white place settings and crystal glassware allowed the focus to remain on the patterned table cloth, as well as the textural fall leaf flower arrangement. A beautiful yellow orchid rested on each china plate to complement the golden autumn tones of the tablescape! A close up showcases the beautiful and delicate fall leave pattern on the china plates!
Butterfly Cakery went wild with this sculpted buttercream cake with swirls and textured frosting to echo the ruffled wedding dress! Flower cake toppers added colorful fall details to the layers with fresh flowers and ferns.
