Organic Meets Industrial Edgy Modern Bridal Shoot

Gorgeous juxtaposition gives this organic meets modern shoot its amazing edge. Well, the studded lace wedding dress and leather jacket help, especially when paired with an organic pastel bouquet for maximum contrast! A sweetly punk Hayley Paige wedding dress takes center stage in this shoot styled by Virginia Rose and captured on film by Milton Photography.

Leather and lace, crushed velvet, and pleated chiffon gave the shoot stunning texture to work with, but most of the color came from unexpected sources. The dreamy pastel bouquet worked beautifully off the flowing softness of the wedding dress, but the bar cart is what gave the whole thing a heady dose of color. Cranberry and Pear Cider cocktails in mid century modern patterned glasses echoed the bold red of the bride’s nails, while the Lavender Blackberry Fizz concoctions in vintage champagne coupes called back to the softer pastel shades. The drinks graced a chic gold bar cart set with crystal decanters, jewel-bright winter fruit, and a perfectly appointed cheese tray.

The dramatic combination of lace, metal studs, and chiffon that went into the Megan dress by Hayley Paige inspired the bridesmaid dress the designer created for her own wedding day! The romantic A-line gown’s pleated chiffon skirt is in gorgeous contrast to the studded bands wrapping around the bodice and open back, with a hint of floral lace to add romance. A wild bouquet of silvery greens and delicate peach and ivory flowers added an organic element to the sharp style of the bride’s attire. A loose top knot and smokey eyes gave the whole look a relaxed vibe, while the bride’s blood red nails kept the drama going.
