Today’s inspiration for a midnight blue and peach wedding with romantic, rustic elements comes from one of my longtime readers, Chandra! She is getting married in late June, and wanted some help envisioning a vintage inspired wedding with a palette in peach, cream, and midnight blue. She envisioned a rustic chic affair with burlap and lace, gentlemen in gray suits, and personal touches like favors of homemade jam!
I wanted to focus on a few specific elements of her request to help make a rustic wedding into something personal. The addition of the midnight blue to a rustic palette like peach and cream brings a touch of elegance to the event. It’s a rich color with warmth and depth, so it is best used as a base color to accent the lighter hues – bridesmaids’ dresses, deep blue napkins on farm tables, and sapphire bridal accessories are gorgeous ways to incorporate the vibrant color into a rustic setting! Keeping in mind that this is a country wedding, it can also be brought in with sweet, homespun touches like a cake topped with blueberries. Using the midnight as a base color gives the peach and cream combination a chance to shine in florals, accenting vintage lace touches like runners and the wedding dress!

Thank you! I should really credit my bride for her gorgeous vision!
