Missing Coachella this year? This music festival wedding shoot is the next best thing, with bohemian desert fashion that would look right at home in Indio, food trucks and a camper bar, and colorful Southwestern decor! This fun and whimsical collaboration between photographer Halle Morgan and Ivory & Beau brought guests together at Starland Yard, Savannah, GA’s, gathering place with food trucks and a rooftop courtyard! The laid back space made for the perfect venue for this eclectic wedding inspiration!
To give the bride’s look a festival fashion feel, Ivory & Beau picked a Willowby by Watters with Southwestern-inspired style, pairing it with a flower adorned hat for a boho crowning touch!
A two-piece bridesmaid dress gave the bridal party a less-formal feel, with a strapless top and high-slit skirt to keep the look minimal and breezy along with the bride. The colorful murals at The Starland Yard offered Halle Morgan amazing backdrops to capture portraits!
To keep the ceremony feeling light and airy but with a pop of color, Ivory & Beau‘s floral team used garlands of colored baby’s breath to create a cloud-like backdrop!
Our couple looked ready to party – the groom styled jeans with a vest, bandana, and boots! The laid back look made a perfect choice for the venue and the relaxed festival feel.
Instead of a veil, the bride rocked her flower hat for the ceremony and changed to a truly epic flower crown for the perfect music festival wedding vibes!
Instead of formal table settings, the design team pulled together mismatched votive candleholders and bud vases to create an eclectic and colorful mix. Record and music note decor added to the music festival feel, and referenced some of the couple’s favorite songs!
Fête Chalet brought in their mobile camper bar to serve beer, wine, and craft cocktails – including blended slushes! The retro camper perfectly fit the Western vibes and festival feel of the wedding, especially when it was adorned with dream catchers and a dried flower garland.
The bar made a great space for guests to gather for an informal reception, with food trucks nearby.
Frozen drinks make for great Specialty Cocktails in the Southern heat!
Wicked Cakes of Savannah used one of the murals at Starland Yard as the inspiration for this colorful cactus cake! The deconstructed painted design and colorful Southwestern colors with an all-buttercream finish made it an instant classic!
Time to get away! A hot red convertible from Callan’s Classics made for the perfect car for our bride and groom to make their grand exit!
