The best way to appreciate this Monet’s Garden inspired wedding shoot? Press play on ‘Once Upon a Dream’ right before you start to scroll. The magical blue dress, blush flowers, and lavender details set the scene for a fairy tale, while taking inspiration from the beauty of impressionist paintings and Monet’s famed garden at Giverny. Whimsical flowers, fashion-forward wedding dresses, and the most gorgeous pastel wedding colors come together in this dreamy shoot from Josie V Photography and A Touch of Bliss at The St. Vrain in Boulder, CO.
The Flowers of Monet’s Garden Inspired this Pastel Wedding
Both the bride’s and groom’s accessories got a little extra love from the styling team! Lavender watercolor invitations, silk ribbon, and styling mats introduced this signature color from the very first stunning visual.
Florist The Painted Primrose drew inspiration for the bride’s bouquet and the wedding flowers from the romanticism of impressionist paintings. The dreamy watercolor flowers had a Monet’s garden inspired wilderness and charm in shades of lavender, dusty punk, and mauve.
How stylish is this groom! A coral gingham jacket isn’t for every gent, but the most fashion-forward men’s style enthusiasts will love this Bonobos look to add a pop of color to the wedding day!
The ceremony space at industrial luxe venue The St. Vrain added the most lovely distressed manor look to the ceremony. Crystal chandeliers and wandering vines on the walls added to the Old World romance of this lovely shoot.

The Painted Primrose team turned the industrial space into a garden, with lush flower arrangements creeping up the walls to create a Monet’s garden inspired ceremony space.
The fitted lace mermaid Made With Love Penny dress from A and Be in Denver was a glorious choice for this garden inspired wedding, thanks to the 3D lace that popped against the latte lining! She dazzled in the venue’s 1920’s inspired cocktail lounge, combining speakeasy style with Art Deco details!
Shades of lavenders, blush, and blue created an indoor garden for the intimate wedding reception! The custom geometric board and batten accent wall at the venue helped scale the industrial warehouse space to a cozy reception for two to pivot from a large wedding to an elopement.
Colorado Party Rentals set the table with exquisite antique china place settings in mismatched patterns and antique Pink Depression glass goblets and chargers to play up the warm tones of the lush garden flower runner. Lavender gray linen napkins and gold-meets-acrylic dipped flatware gave the table decor the most gorgeous pastel finish!
This vintage round banquette at the venue made for the most gorgeous way to display the cake! The preserved flower cake sat under a Monet’s Garden inspired floral chandelier to amp up the feeling of spring even with snow on the Rocky Mountains outside. The Little Peach Bakery filled the cake with peach jam and covered the buttercream frosting in edible flowers.
How dazzling is this colored wedding dress from Henry Roth Brides? The layered tulle skirt in dreamy shades of blue added to the impressionist feel of the Monet’s garden inspired colors and flowers.
This couple stole a waltz in an enchanted garden – how beautifully does this dress move in photos!
