The historic Melrose Mansion in New Orleans added a backdrop of Victorian glamour to a shoot that celebrates distinctly modern style. From the bride’s sleek Amsale sheath dress with an open illusion back and flirty peplum to her dramatic ballerina a bun, every shot showcases gorgeously styled details. Black ankle bow heels and a striped ribbon accenting the lush bouquet add a hint of classic Southern preppy to the proceedings. The groom’s black on black paisley tie and fresh berry boutonniere echo the luxuriously modern styling inherent in every frame.

The crisp black and berry palette makes a dramatic statement against the marble hall with soaring windows, especially when it comes to the modern Head Table.
