Today’s modern neon wedding inspiration board has a little bit of an unusual origin – the glow of headlights on wet pavement. Now that it’s officially spring in California, I’ve been seeing them quite a bit, and this palette of dusk blue and cherry red was born! What could be a more perfect way to express that vivid play of light than with a hint of neon? Marquee lights have become a new favorite trend of mine – trust me on this, you’ll see why soon! – and they have become a fun and fabulous way to add a signature lighting scheme to your wedding. I found the ideal representation of my theme in this amazing ‘Joy’ sign by Gods Own Junkyard – such a perfect sentiment for the happiest day of your life!
A neon inspired wedding will always have a modern feel, making this design concept feel right at home in an urban or industrial venue, but there’s no reason not to add a splash of neon to any wedding location! The soft blue and spicy red palette can play at once fresh and romantic. Bright, colorful floral arrangements – and even a hint of pattern – would play perfectly off of a background of the misty blue and soft ivory in linens, place settings, and stationery. The vibrant palette and calming touches will create an amazing, and yes, joyful, space for your wedding!

Such a fun inspiration board! Love that sign.
Love, love, love…this palette is so soft and pretty!
What a pretty palette!
Love the touch of neon! So fun!
Marquee lights are so on trend these days, loving them as well. Pretty much swooning over this board, blue is one of my favourite colours and this soft, dusky shade is dreamy!
