Longing for farm to table influence in the middle of the city? This farm to table wedding inspiration from photographer Amanda Nippoldt brings fresh greenery decor into downtown Minneapolis to create the perfect event inspiration for farmer’s market lovers, fans of Mid-Century Modern decor, and anyone who adores fun, retro color! Minne Weddings and Rocket Science Events designed an unconventional wedding day, combining terra cotta pots for living plant centerpieces, a rustic A-frame ceremony arch for an urban venue, and pops of bright sunshine from the 70’s inspired invitations and signs!
Modern Greenery Decor for a City Wedding shoot
Gorgeous greenery décor was the must-have detail for this farm to table city wedding shoot! The bride’s flower-less bouquet was made up of all kinds of elemental greenery, with varieties of eucalyptus and ferns to add shading and texture to the gorgeous arrangement.
Historic Minneapolis venue, The Machine Shop, gave this team the perfect canvas for the Mid-Century Modern inspired shoot, with wood plank walls and hardwood floors. The natural textures and vintage industrial setting in the former mill and warehouse venue inspired a rustic A-frame ceremony arch with terra cotta potted plants and creeping vines forming a living wall style wedding backdrop that added bold emerald green color and organic texture to the vows!
Planning a pandemic wedding? This intimate inspiration offers eye-candy ideas for a Mid-Century wedding as well as 2021 wedding ideas to keep your guests safe! From a stylish hand sanitizer station to personalized signs indicating the cleanliness of individual pens to keep safe while signing the guest book, they shared creative ways to keep guests distanced and safe!
Instead of traditional reception seating, the team put together distanced cocktail tables to keep guests safe! They opted for potted plants, herbs, and bundles of fresh farmer’s market finds like mushrooms to jalapeños to give the tables unique centerpieces!
Ready for organic dessert? This lovely cake display with sweet treats by Farina Baking Co included a two tier white buttercream wedding cake and a selection of delicious mini treats! Rather than ceramic plates, they used compostable bamboo serving dishes.
How fab is this 70’s inspired Mid-Century Modern lounge by Style Society to evoke a cozy living area with the perfect retro touch!
Amanda Nippoldt took the couple outside for rooftop wedding photos overlooking the St. Anthony neighborhood of Minneapolis and the Mississippi River for a dose of gorgeous natural light for their portraits!
