This Boston events team blended the fun of a unique wedding venue at Zoo New England with a luxury safari wedding theme! The muted fall colors of their dried grass arrangements echoed the colors found on the savanna, combined with lush botanical elements, ikat print patterns, and unique laser cut paper details! Look for the most adorable zoo animals to make an appearance, with giraffe guests at the ceremony to edible cookie versions of some of the most famous safari animals for dessert! These adorable guests made for the cutest way to introduce the watercolor invitations Boxed Wedding Invitations created! It’s only right, since they served as inspiration for botanical-style illustrations that captured the luxury safari wedding style in beautiful paper goods!

The goal for this stunning dried grass and flower ceremony arch was marrying the bohemian design trend with a luxury safari feel – the flower magic of Flou(-e)r absolutely nailed that intersection, with textural grasses reminiscent of the savanna where giraffes roam, rendered in an African landscape-inspired palette of natural neutrals with dusty green, tan, brown, and soft notes of orange and toffee.

Our couple is equally as stylish as the incredible dried flower ceremony backdrop! The bride rocked a chic white jumpsuit by Adelyn Rae with a plunge neckline and draped detail that added a nod to traditional wedding dress skirts while keeping the focus on a modern pant silhouette!

The groom wore a bottle green suit from The Black Tux, with a unique foliage bow tie and boutonniere that added the perfect botanical element to his suit!

How fabulous is this outdoor ceremony at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston! The foliage and dried grass florals were a beautiful complement to the lush botanical setting. Called Serengeti Crossing, the area called to mind the grasslands where ostrich, zebras and wildebeests roam – with the park’s open preserve areas so close by, those creatures may just make an appearance at the wedding!

What could be better than carousel photos! The stunning forest green, orange, and gold Merry Go Round could not have been a more perfect fit for the nature-inspired color scheme of this luxury safari wedding day!

A glamping-camp site straight out of an Old Hollywood safari movie was the inspiration for this stunning lounge area, with Moroccan influences in the vintage rugs, bohemian poufs, and gold lanterns from Form Creative Services.

The tented reception space gave the design team an opportunity to play with hanging basket lanterns and chandeliers of woven reeds with greenery and dried grasses to carry the grassland inspiration into the dining area!

How stunning are these tables? The luxury safari wedding theme made a stunning rendition on the dining tables, with tribal-inspired ikat patterns on the tablecloths from Party Rental Ltd. Gold serveware, cut crystal glasses, and arrangements of pampas grass and dried palm fronds added desert oasis style to the incredible tables! My favorite detail has to be the woven placemats with tasseled menu cards. Each place setting featured a laser cut animal silhouette to bring the safari sightings into dinner!

This is the cutest wedding cake alternative! Adorable animal cookies served as the most adorable dessert, with tigers, giraffes, leopards, and monkeys adorning hexagon sugar cookies. Each one was served with a flavored milk shooter to make this sweet treat even more fun!
