Luxurious Multicultural Wedding in Red and Gold

Anne-Maly and Elias began their wedding celebration with ceremonies that reflected the bride’s Cambodian heritage. Guests of the couple journeyed to the bride’s parents’ home bearing platters of gifts to offer the couple, before the ceremonies began Following Cambodian tradition, Anne-Maly and Elias changed their attire throughout the series of ceremonies, culminating in regal cloth of gold attire befitting royalty, which follows the legend of the origin of Cambodia – that the country was created as a wedding present for the Khmer prince, Preah Thong and the naga princess, Neang Neak.

They melded Anne-Maly’s heritage with a traditional – and incredibly stylish – Western wedding once their vows were said. Anne-Maly’s final change of the day was into a glamorous lace mermaid gown, topped with a vintage fur stole and rhinestone brooch as a nod to the chilly Montreal autumn. With her handsome groom in classic black tie, they journeyed to one of the best kept secrets in Montreal, the Westmount Greenhouses for portraits! Their glamorous vintage attire could not have been a more perfect fit for the elegant Conservatory with its 1920’s architecture. Bonnallie captured intimate and beautiful moments throughout the park surrounding the greenhouses, before the pair ducked into Cavallaro Westmount to warm up with cappuccinos and enjoy a quiet moment together in their busy day! Sufficiently caffeinated, they rejoined their family and friends at the Crown Plaza Montreal for a no-holds-barred glamorous reception to add the final touch to their stunning and unifying wedding day!
