Old world styling meets a modern color palette in this gorgeous wedding inspiration that pairs Color of the Year Living Coral with mustard yellow! The bold mix of colors perfectly complements the modern fairy tale styling of the shoot, which drew inspiration from my personal favorite, Beauty and the Beast! Pops of yellow for Belle’s iconic gown were represented in goldenrod flowers, whimsical watercolor invitations, and the bride’s statement tassel earrings! The setting evoked European charm in the heart of Texas at Villa Antonia in Austin, while Eureka Photography and Gold Dust Event Co brought this fairy tale to fresh life with luxe bohemian style and stunning, over the top flower arrangements!
Living Coral meets Mustard Yellow for a Modern Wedding Palette with Old World Style
The color palette kept things whimsical and soft, with hand painted watercolor invitations from By Brittany Branson. The sweet colors were picked up in the bride’s pastel pink bow heels, and her luxe organic bouquet by The Bloom Bar. Pops of coral roses, golden chrysanthemums, and purple ribbons created a colorful flower arrangement to stand out against the bride’s nude lace mermaid gown from Wed Bridal Boutique.
Lip Service Make Up showed off the bride’s statement tassel earrings with a sideswept braided hairstyle adorned by a delicate crystal vine. Subtle rose gold makeup and smokey eyes played off the dramatic color palette of the flowers and accented the nude lace wedding dress. Even the adorable ring bearer puppy kept things stylish with a floral collar!
The groom looked picture perfect in a navy blue suit with black tie from J Hilburn.
Statement flower arrangements adorned the villa and turned the staircase into a gorgeous garden space for portraits!
Coral silk and velvet linens complemented the rustic table setting on the villa’s terrace, with a stunning view of the Austin valley beyond. A geometric stand elevated the overflowing flower arrangements to created a modern statement centerpiece! Gold candles picked up the central color story and accented the warm tones of the tablescape.
Iced Cakes and Confections created this picture perfect mauve and coral confection that brought to mind old world frescoes with a mixture of sugar flowers and real blooms!
