Italy Destination Wedding Shoot at a Tuscan Villa

How anyone can take a peek at this Italy destination wedding shoot and resist hopping on a plane is beyond me!  Heledd Roberts Photography captured this stunning inspiration for this Tuscan elopement at the Jeremy Chou Workshop at an elegant villa. Weddings in Tuscany and Tristan Needham Designs envisioned an intimate and stylish wedding day that drew on the glamour of Italian fashion and the warm Tuscan hues of the countryside.

The timeless beauty of the Villa Medicea di Lilliano inspired the romantic bridal style and luxe floral detailing that makes this shoot so incredible. The clean lines of the bride’s silk chiffon Alexandra Grecco bridal gown added a subtle counterpoint to the aristocratic surroundings of the Medici family’s villa. The flirty lace sleeves and dramatic open back added a modern and glamorous touch to the stunning setting. Chiara Sperti Floral Events was inspired by the rich sunset colors of Florence to create the luxurious flowers in shades of dusky pink, coral, and yellow.

The wedding may have been envisioned as an intimate elopement, but the ceremony is just as important if there are 100 guests or 1. To create the perfect backdrop for a romantic Italy destination wedding, they took advantage of the formal gardens. They lined the aisle facing the stone grotto with fresh white floral arrangements and rustic cane chairs. The reception took place on the villa’s terrace with a view of the sun setting over the Tuscan hills. Earthenware place settings and vibrant summer flowers set the intimate table with a colorful spread in natural textures. Sugarcups  Cake Design interpreted the organic design in a three tiered cake with gorgeous yellow and peach floral details!
