I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the return of spring than with this Italian chic wedding shoot from Rosapaola Lucibelli Photography! The Riva Lofts Residence served as both the backdrop and the inspiration for the shoot – the beautiful designer lofts on the banks of the Arno River were the perfect blend of old-world Florentine charm and Bohemian style. This talented team envisioned a design for an intimate wedding that captured that elegant yet contemporary ambiance and I think it’s safe to say they nailed it! The exposed brick walls of the loft provided a lovely contrast for the pale aqua polka-dot linens and lush pink and ivory peonies. The polka dots perfectly set the scene for the fun and fabulous atmosphere of the shoot – from the jaunty dotted scarf on the doggie, daisy appliques on the bride’s gown and veil, to the cheeky photo booth props from Missprint Officina Grafica!

What a chic spring wedding!I like the wedding theme,so beautiful!
So inspiring!
We had fun working on this shoot and we truly we loved our team 😉
Love the tablescape! Polka dots are always so cute! The cake is also so gorgeous, perfect with that equally lovely and unique cake stand.
Thankyou so much. I really, really appreciate it. The cake was actually designed to mimic the pattern on the stand – which I also love. I have them custom made by a local florentine artisan for my cakes, so all of them are really unique and I’m able to design them to coordinate with the cakes.
The dog is adorable and so is her gown! Love all the detailing in that tablescape.
Where do I even begin?! The cake is incredible with the gold detailing and the tablescape is one of my favorites ever with polka dotted napkins! LOVE every detail about this!
Angelica, thank you so much. I love using edible metallics on the cakes. They manage to be really contemporary and nostalgic at the same time. To do that gold, I literally hand painted edible gold onto each of the ribbons, then embossed it, set it and dusted it. The idea was to mimic the design of the customade stand -which I designed with a local artisan so that all of the details would just be really clean and unique.
