Ryan and Alexandra wanted to find the perfect balance between intimate and an elopement for their wedding day, and struck on a Valley of Fire wedding ceremony and a restaurant reception in Las Vegas with just twenty of their closest friends and family! They worked tirelessly to create the handmade details that could all be carried in, carried out, allowing them to celebrate their love in a rocky canyon of the natural park while leaving it pristine! Elope Tahoe Photo Co. was the perfect choice for their adventure session in the Nevada desert, and LV Wedding Connection made sure everything came together for their big day!
Ryan proposed on a hike through Red Rock National Park so it was only fitting that the desert outside Las Vegas played a part in their wedding day as well! The couple wanted the natural splendor and the rich colors of the Valley of Fire to play a part in their ceremony, and planned their eco-friendly wedding in a picturesque canyon.
The bride DIY’ed their ceremony arch from birch branches and greenery to give it an earthy feel that perfectly suited the canyon venue. Garlands and succulents complemented their minimal decor, keeping the focus on the couple and the setting in their photos.
They chose to participate in a rainbow rock ceremony, layering colored crystals in a glass jar together, with each color representing a quality they valued in their partner and vowed to carry into their marriage. The result was a beautiful and colorful keepsake of their wedding vows!
Champagne on ice waited so everyone could toast the new husband and wife with a glass of bubbly in the desert!
Alexandra wanted to keep her bouquet, one of their few flower arrangements, so she made it from silk roses, succulents, and eucalyptus to cherish as a keepsake! She loved the subtle color of her Oleg Cassini wedding dress with a lace overlay, and had a romantic updo created by MakeUp in the 702.
Elope Tahoe Photo Co. gave this nature loving couple memories to cherish from their adventure session in the Valley of Fire State Park! Just like true nature lovers, they left nothing but their footprints and happy memories behind to mark their passge.
The couple decided to bring their US and Slovak relatives together with the great uniter – alcohol! They had mini American whiskey bottles for their international guests to try and ‘Slovak tea’ for the US guests.
The intimate reception at Las Vegas restaurant honeysalt was filled with greenery, romantic lights, and more of Alexandra’s handmade decor!
She decorated the tables with succulents, birch candleholders, and crystal elements to create an earthy and natural centerpiece.
One of her favorite details were the name tags – chunks of amethyst crystal with each guests’ name and a message at each place setting.
Las Vegas Custom Cakes created their two-tier cake with a brushed gold detail and succulent cake topper.
