Intimate Peony Pink Wedding in the South

All you need on your wedding day is your beloved, your family and friends – and, all right, a whole lot of peonies. This romantic peony pink wedding celebrates an intimate ceremony between two sweethearts and manages to incorporate a whole lot of floral gorgeousness!

I couldn’t resist featuring this wedding – not only because Pasha Belman Photography captures stunning moments, but because it illustrates how the power of incredible event design. Bride-to-be Polina and planner Gigi Noelle Events didn’t share a common language, but they were able to communicate and share their ideas for the wedding through gorgeous visuals. The wedding was styled to suit the beautiful Ukrainian headpiece and custom wedding dress that the bride’s mother brought from Russia. Gigi selected soft blooms to complement the headpiece, creating a bouquet of lush pink peonies. The delicate romance of the flowers set the tone for the sweetly Southern destination wedding.

Although their intimate wedding day only included ten people, those ten traveled from all over the world to celebrate with Polina and Robertas. While the decor tied in the bride’s attire and the dreamy setting, they incorporated their heritage in the gorgeous dessert display. A traditional Ukrainian cake adorned their dessert table, along with a ruffled layer cake topped with fresh peonies. Strands of bistro lights hung over the single tables, spotlighted with a vintage crystal chandelier. Guests were seated at places with menus written in both Russian and English, at a table set with birdcages overflowing with fresh flowers.
