The couple that crafts together, creates a gorgeous wedding day together! Kari and Tyler’s industrial garden wedding day was a labor of love in so many ways, combining their many creative DIY details, the bride’s love of plants with plenty of greenery, and luxe red velvet details for the bridal party – and the cake! Their Texas wedding day was an unforgettable affair with talented team Silver Bear Creative and Keestone Events!
Kari found her Something Blue with these fabulous crystal Badgley Mischka shoes!
Be prepared for a lot of rich color! Kari loved deep fall colors to add a little richness and warmth to the wedding day, and Alba Dahlia Floral absolutely killed it with the flowers! The bride’s bouquet of crimson peonies, deep red ranunculus, and blush pink roses was as romantic as she could have wished for!
Kari fell in love with this Lovers Society wedding dress from Lovely Bride Dallas – it felt like the perfect mix of lacy bohemian style with classic elements that would stand the test of time. Hair stylist Meagan Ranee&Co complemented the breezy glam look of the dress with a half up braided hairstyle that beautifully framed Kari’s face, and makeup artist XXOO Studio played up her wedding day glow and gave her the perfect red lip!
The couple shared an emotion ‘first touch’ before they saw each other walk down the aisle. It gave them a chance to connect and revisit old memories – from first meeting while Tyler was on a work assignment in Dallas and happened to meet Kari on Match.com. The relationship stuck and the work assignment was made permanent!
In keeping with her love of luxe autumn tones, Kari chose red velvet dresses from Jenny Yoo for her bridesmaids! They loved the semi-formal feel to set the tone for their guests, and even found burgundy bow ties for the groomsmen to match!
Their venue, The 4 Eleven, gave the couple everything they were looking for from a restore warehouse vibe! The whitewashed brick walls became the backdrop for their ceremony greenery arch created by Alba Dahlia Floral, with vines forming the asymmetrical form and flowers and mercury glass lanterns lining the aisles. Strands of greenery and twinkle lights ran along the exposed beams in the ceiling, tying the lush organic feeling into the industrial warehouse.
Their sweet vows included Kari’s son, making them into a family of three. Tyler included their son in his proposal in San Francisco, turning a trip to Panther Beach into an unforgettable weekend when he asked both of them to spend the rest of their lives with him!
The new official family portrait!
Kari and Tyler slipped away for a portrait session with their photographer and videographer crew from Silver Bear Creative, using the 1920s warehouse district in historic South Main Street in Fort Worth for their backdrop.
The reception showcased months of Kari and Tyler’s hard work, crafting unique and memorable details to accent their long farm tables and flower garlands. The rustic wooden chargers were each set with a kraft paper menu and marble tile lettered with the guest’s name. Each unique piece was a labor of love from the bride, groom, and their Cricut machine!
Each table was named after a city the couple visited together, with metallic lettering on an acrylic frame!
Love is sweet, and the couple opted for delicious desserts that fit that adage! Their nearly naked red velvet cake was topped with fresh flowers, and their Funfetti cake looked as though it had been dipped in sprinkles! They wanted simple and fun for their cakes, and Creme De La Creme Cake Company delivered!
This enormous Connect 4 was a fun twist on reception games!
As beautiful and memorable as their wedding had been until that point, both Kari and Tyler spent the day looking forward to getting on the dance floor! DJ Le Force Entertainment kept the 90’s jams going and the dance floor packed!
