Hearts Flutter for this Airy Winter Gray and White Wedding

Spring is nearly here, but this airy winter gray and white shoot will set your heart fluttering! Salt and Cedar Photography and Heritage Gatherings set out to prove the power of neutral for your wedding day, especially when paired with a gorgeous architectural wedding dress, stunning dried grass and preserved flower arrangements by Vine and Oak Events, and gorgeous Alena Leena! Musa Weddings pulled together this Philadelphia wedding team to create an organic and modern event with more than a touch of magic in the making!

Airy Winter Gray and White Wedding

The goal for this magical bridal shoot? Create an enchanted winter look, like stepping through the wardrobe into Narnia. The creative team cultivated an ethereal winter look that used non-traditional floral design to create an airy, frosty look for the bride’s bouquet and the gorgeous tablescape for two.

Texture, ruffles, polka dots, and pockets – all of the above add up to the most gorgeous bridal gown! This stunning structural wedding dress by Alena Leena is truly unique, thanks to an bustier top in luxe silk with a dotted finish. The architectural ruffle sleeves are such a gorgeous silhouette in the Mimosa gown, or they can be worn as an off-the-shoulder style for a more relaxed look!

Pairing an architectural wedding dress with a romantic bridal updo is a gorgeous pick – hair stylist Bridal by Natalie went for a soft chignon accented with handcrafted flower hair pins by Vivi Embellish and chunky gemstone earrings to add the look of ice crystals for a style on the verge of spring. Makeup By Kortnie Figura kept the bride’s beauty light, dewy, and romantic with a blush pink lip.

What could be more magical than a veil photo? This chic tulle drop veil adds such an element of romance to the stylish A-line wedding dress!

On their inspiration for the wedding reception design –

Cool blues and grays mixed with frosty whites felt like you were entering Narnia, and the dried, textural florals reflected the winter landscape you would find outside here in Philadelphia. 

A mixture of organic textures from the dried grasses and preserved flowers, watercolor place settings, and bleached fern plate accents added neutral tones to the ice blue silk napkins, cut crystal glasses, and matte gold flatware for a gorgeous combination!

Ready for a transformation! The wing-like flutter sleeves can instantly transform into an off-the-shoulder wedding dress! Combined with the architectural bodice and the gorgeous textile in the full skirt, the result is one of the most stunning and unique wedding dress designs!
