Today’s charming wedding at The Peach Barn in Tifton, Georgia, was planned by sweethearts from Ohio who didn’t know what they were looking for until they found each other! Their friends and family came together to help them create the wedding day of their dreams, from traveling from all over the country to celebrate, not to mention having a hand in every detail of their wedding day. Jaimee and Brandon’s family pitched in to help gather flowers from local markets to create the wildflower bouquets held by the bride and her bridesmaids, as well as the beautiful floral crown that Jaimee wore to walk down the aisle. They put together loose, wild centerpieces in vintage milk glass vases to adorn the tables, accompanied by hand cut rounds from local trees!
The reception featured a dessert bar made of dozens of pies that the bride’s grandmother made from family recipes, and they had a petite cutting cake made that was topped with an heirloom cake topper that was generations old. Even the bride’s dress was custom made with help from her aunt and uncle who were living in China! All of the family’s effort came together in a beautiful wedding day on the lake in Georgia, with a heartfelt ceremony that included readings from both Jaimee and Brandon’s mothers. Guests were invited inside the beautifully adorned, rustic barn while the new husband and wife took portraits with Captured by Colson Photography in the woods and fields surrounding the historic property. Dinner was a proper Southern affair catered by the Freckled & Blue Food Truck for a fun and unexpected twist on wedding food!
