Priya and Mike’s glamorous neutral and greenery wedding at Ballard Bay Club was a beautiful celebration of stunning style and sweet heart! They opted for romance at every turn of their wedding style, working with Seattle planner Elite Events to bring their vision to life. Garden flowers, greenery garlands, a ceremony flower arch with a view of Puget Sound, and two people blissfully in love gave this stunning Washington wedding day the most magical moments for Sonja Lyon to capture!

Priya and her bridesmaids toasted to the wedding morning in personalized monogrammed pajamas that were the bride’s gift to her bridal party! They celebrated as morning broke over Seattle for a picture-perfect wedding day on the bay.
The First Look was one of Priya and Mike’s favorite parts of their wedding day. As soon as she saw her husband-to-be, the bride went from nervous and excited to just plain excited! It also gave them a chance to have a few precious moments alone before getting swept up into the excitement of the big day!
The couple chose Ballard Bay Club in Seattle after falling in love with the views of Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains from the waterside ceremony site. The area was filled with natural greenery, so their design team of Elite Events and Oak and Fig Floral pulled that element into the floral decor, making the ceremony feel organic and natural along with the mahogany chivari chairs that lined the aisle
The couple said I Do under a stunning circular flower arch, with greenery and glamorous neutral flowers that created an epic frame for the moment they exchanged their vows!
Glamorous Neutral Bridesmaid Style
Priya let her bridesmaids pick a dress that fit her color scheme, creating a neutral mismatched bridesmaid look that they tied together with wavy hairstyles and greenery bouquets! The bride herself fell in love with a fitted lace mermaid dress with a Sweetheart neckline.
She said the dress was one that stood out to her right away, but not one she expected she would pick. It was a style she tried on to be open to all of her options, and she ended up loving the fitted style, structured strapless bodice, and stunning lace details!
The groomsmen wore tan suits with a crisp navy blue tie to accent the glamorous neutral decor!
Scandinavian Modern Reception Decor
Inside the pavilion at the Ballard Bay Club, the birchwood floors and exposed brick walls inspired a moody Scandinavian approach to their decor, with rustic farm tables and modern ghost chairs mingling to create an open and airy atmosphere! Guests entered through a draped doorway with wild vines and floating candles to be welcomed into the stunning reception hall with views over Puget Sound as the sun began to set.
The long tables were dressed with eucalyptus garlands and accented with cafe at lait dahlias and cappuccino roses to tie in the glamorous neutral color palette! Floating candles and gold framed glass table numbers added delicate details to complement their elegant reception decor.
Their wedding was a beautiful example of simplicity and stunning style – the garlands and floating candle votives are an easy way to dress up long tables, while the rest of their decor pieces built off of those lovely accents. The place settings elevated the venue’s classic white china with personalized menu cards tied with a blush silk ribbon and a sprig of rosemary!
When the sun began to set over Puget Sound, Sonja Lyon whisked the couple away for a portrait session at magic hour! The light on the bay created the most stunning moody portraits for this beautiful couple!
