No, the title does not disappoint – today’s bride is wearing one stunning blush wedding dress! RaeAnne and Graham were high school sweethearts, or as close as you can get. She wore a blush dress on their date to her Grade 12 formal, so it was only fitting to wear the same hue on their wedding day!
The ruffled gown from Maggie Sottero naturally set the palette for their summer wedding in the Rocky Mountains. RaeAnne selected pale pink and gray for their wedding at Silvertip Resort. Forest fires in British Columbia nearly put a damper on their planned outdoor ceremony, but it managed to go off without a hitch. The mountain view from the resort’s gazebo was obscured by a thick, hazy veil but Janine Deanna Photography accompanied the couple and their bridal party throughout the meadows and valleys of the mountains in order to capture the gorgeous scenery!
Her dress was the biggest secret of the wedding, according to RaeAnne. The pale gray Amsale dresses that she chose for her bridesmaids shocked friends familiar with her life long affinity for pink, unaware that she was saving the romantic shade for her own dress. Her maids paired their chiffon tea-length dresses with pink garden roses and pewter shoes, while the bride carried a bouquet of blush and ivory flowers wrapped in pearls and fastened with a gold heirloom locket. Her flower girls danced down the aisle in custom made gray tutus with pink ballet slippers, which is pretty much the dream of every flower-girl-to-be!
