It all started with the adorable gem escort card holders that Lemiga Events created – the angular shape of the gems perfectly captured that modern, geometric look, while the gold paint added the perfect, chic touch (there’s an amazing DIY to create your own gems at Ruffled)!

The rest of the details were quick to fall into place – gold cage shoes with a sweeping tulle skirt are just the right blend of elegant and cutting edge, while hanging gem pendant lights against an elegant blush canopy create stunning ambiance. Vibrant peonies and garden roses provide lush pops of color in wild arrangements accented with gold painted leaves, or just a as a single statement bloom. I love how perfectly the delicate gold cage on Hey There, Cupcake!‘s gilded petite cake echoes the bridal shoes – tiny call backs like that are the best way to carry a theme without making it too overt.
