Today’s inspiration gives a fresh twist to a classic winter palette, with a play off of the traditional holiday green and red! Rather than the usual holiday hues, I went with the soft aqua shade of sea glass and the bright cheerful color of pomegranate. The vibrant berry tones are perfectly in keeping with the season, while the frosted shade of sea glass is unexpected but perfect for winter! Rich shades of burgundy, red, and berry create gorgeous floral designs – dahlias, roses, and chrysanthemums are perfect for winter, but swap in seasonal blooms like ranunculus, poppies, and bougainvillea to capture the same look in the summer!
Blown glass vessels on the tables and drinkware in white, aqua, and teal add a delicate touch to long wooden tables. Cheerful arrangements of seasonal flowers add just the right pop of color. Cranberries and pomegranates in the arrangements and on place settings keep things festive! I love the idea of pieces of sea glass etched with each guests’ name as place settings for a fun, seaside touch!
