A floral print wedding dress and architectural flowers give this shoot a fresh take on a black and white wedding! Samantha James Photography and Hey Gorgeous Events created this lovely minimalist wedding inspiration shoot in nothing but black and white with shades of gray. Clean and modern invitations, laser cut heels, and a patterned wedding dress added fun texture to the most classic of color palettes!
A Fresh Take on a Black and White Wedding
A chic black and white wedding dress by Carol Hannah added a whimsical element with hand drawn floral patterns on the full, flowing skirt. Hey Gorgeous Events styled the unique gown with a pair of gray suede heels with a laser cut design and an intricate crystal clutch. Hanna Wagner Designs gave the bride a center parted low ponytail to accent the minimalist look and highlight the clean lines of the silky cap sleeved tee.
An architectural bouquet in all white flowers perfectly suited the modern and structural lines echoed throughout the inspiration shoot, not to mention adding the perfect pop against the dress’s detail. The monochromatic florals continued onto the guest table, with a flower market’s worth of white blooms in uniform clusters. Slim black taper candles and graphic sans serif menus from A Fine Press added a hint of modern edge to the clean table decor. Even the dessert display took a minimal approach – neat squares of cake were presented on silver trays for a linear design that perfectly suited this new take on an old classic!
