Fresh Spring Wedding Flowers in Blue and Gold

The enormous stone fireplace at the Wrightsville Manor in North Carolina made a breathtaking backdrop for the whimsical style of the shoot to unfold. Design Perfection draped the mantel with garlands of fresh spring greenery and pastel flowers, while gold lanterns and white candles glittered under a crystal chandelier. A enormous bouquet of peach and pale blue added just the right amount of floral elegance to the bride’s lace and tulle Hayley Paige gown, with a chic lace-up back for a cheeky touch.

The elegant focal colors of dusty blue and gold made a splash with one of the most stunning wedding cakes I’ve ever seen, sporting marbled fondant adorned with flecks of edible gold leaf and wreaths of greenery separating the four tiers. A Moscow Mule bar with trailing vines and copper mugs continued the metallic theme! Designs by K created hand lettered signs to complement the carafe of sparkling grapefruit specialty cocktails!

Outdoors, the vast grounds of the estate served as the setting for a lush, natural ceremony and reception. Rustic wooden chairs surrounded a stone fountain overflowing with fresh spring wedding flowers, perfect for the bride and groom to exchange their vows. Hand lettered escort cards with metallic script on mussel shells added a pop of deep blue to the rustic farm table, with tall gold hurricane lamps holding flickering candles. A hand crafted arbor finished off the reception design with a greenery installation and crystal chandelier!
