Fresh and bright citrus orange, macrame decor, and retro wedding style combine in this playful elopement inspiration for the free-spirited! Tiny Mum Photography and the wedding planners extraordinaire at Chancey Charm Houston created this fabulously fun celebration at Evelyn’s Park Conservancy to bring together 1970’s style favorites in a juicy orange and green color scheme!
What would 70’s retro wedding style be without macrame details? This gorgeous wall hanging doubled as a flatlay surface with preserved palm fronds to serve as backup dancers for Paper Tie Affair‘s beautifully lettered invitations. A burnt orange and dusty green palette played up the sixties vibes with earth tones and playful hues!
More love for macrame wedding decor!
This bride embraced retro wedding style with her boho lace wedding dress, long flowing wavy hairstyle, and Twiggy-inspired nude lip! The free-spirited dress from Brickhouse Bridal played in to the beautiful bouquet by Always Floral with orange and white flowers tied with sage green silk ribbons to create a gorgeous fall floral arrangement!
This rustic farm table by Archive Rentals created the perfect canvas for autumn-toned wax candlesticks, preserved palm fronds and pampas grass, and glassware in topaz, amber, and olive green. The focus on muted colors live burnt orange and sage created an earthy design that tied in perfectly with raw edge linen napkins and dried grass decor!
Ready for dessert? This white and orange tiered cake by CBV Cakes by Vivian has fresh Creamsicle style with sugar flowers on smooth vanilla frosting. A scatter of edible rose petals across the top of a frothy pink signature drink added to the fun colorful wedding day details, as did blocks of pink Himalayan salt crystals for added texture!
Those drinks were served by Traveling Spirit Bar, a retro caravan bar that was perfect for the go-with-the-flow vibe of this bride and groom!
His and hers cocktails paired a jalapeno pineapple margarita with hibiscus rose cooler along with a little Texas love from these Lone Star State wedding pros!
Lounging never looked so good as these retro furniture picks from Archive Rentals – bohemian print poufs and low pillows created a cozy space for an intimate wedding reception to gather and mingle!
