Flowers in the Desert – Bohemian Festival Wedding Ideas
Since the workshop was styled by legendary floral designer, Bows and Arrows, the flowers were guaranteed to be nothing less than spectacular! The colors of the desert at Joshua Tree inspired the romantic colors, with shades of sand and stone combined with rich hues of dusty purple and mauve. The organic floral accents, from the bride’s succulent and flower crown to the abundantly colorful bouquets, softened the dramatic desert landscape. Wicker chargers and slate earthenware plates tied in with the natural textures of the rugged landscape, while gold flatware and delicate crystal glasses etched with lace-like patterns added a touch of delicate elegance to the farm table reception.
Ethereal gowns from Tatyana Merenyuk brought the bride’s bohemian style to life, with a sumptuous sheer robe of Chantilly lace to get ready in and a powder blue pleated dress to add the perfect touch of off-beat whimsy. Amy Clarke of The Halcyon Agency paired the modern blue wedding dress with a matte lip in deep wine to complement the varying berry tones of the bouquet.
