Beha and Nathan blended romance and adventure for their Bali destination wedding, with a week-long journey through the country from Melasti Beach to Ubud, the cultural center of the island. The Los Angeles-based couple planned the most elegant French garden-inspired wedding on the rooftop deck of Four Seasons Resort Bali At Sayan with the help of their destination planner, Bali Event Styling. Incredible fine art film photographs by Stepan Vrzala and an epic wedding video by Robert Michael Films captured every step of their journey!
Beha and Nathan spent the week leading up to their wedding exploring Bali together, with their videographer, Robert Michael Films, along to capture the adventure! He wove their travels in with their wedding day at Four Seasons Resort Bali At Sayan to create their epic video journey!
The LA-based couple fell in love with the serenity and energy of the resort in Bali’s Sayan Valley, and knew it would be the perfect place to celebrate their wedding. With local planner Bali Event Styling helping with the details from a distance, they planned their dream Bali destination wedding with a blend of sweeping jungle views and classic French garden inspiration!
Bride Beha looked radiant on her wedding day in a fitted lace off the shoulder wedding dress by L’Huillier. The cathedral length veil she chose to accent the gown’s long train was accented with lace along the hem for these dramatic and stunning bridal portraits on the terrace overlooking the jungle.
Martha Florist worked with the planner and the couple to capture the lush magic of French garden florals in their flower arrangements. She used local Indonesian roses, Holland spray roses, and local Acacia greenery to create the bride’s elegant blush and white garden bouquet.
Her planner described stunning bride Beha:
She knows the best places for Persian pastry from West Hollywood to Santa Monica. Dances dastgah on the weekends. Speaks five languages, only two of them European. Drives comfortably on either side of the road. Owns every first edition of poetry by Rumi and Khan Ghalib. Spends a month every summer in Santorini to improve her sailing.
When asked once for the secret in her approach to life.
“Never take maybe for an answer.”
Rest assured on this day she said ‘Yes’!

Nathan proposed to his beautiful bride on Valentine’s Day, with a special evening planned for the location of their first date! After she said ‘yes!’, bride-to-be Beha was surprised by their loved ones waiting around the corner to celebrate!
The couple held their ceremony on the Rooftop Lotus Pond Terrace at Four Seasons Resort Bali At Sayan, with a circular infinity-edge pond that provided a 360-degree view of the Ayung River gorge.
The stunning scenery was not nearly a match for their amazing floral arch, lush aisle arrangements, and stunning sofreh aghd that made up their incredible ceremony decor.
A classic palette of pink and black added to the timeless feeling of their wedding styling.
Fine art photographer Stepan Vrzala captured the magical light of Bali in their incredible portraits overlooking the rooftop lotus pond and venturing into the stunning river valley.
Greenery installations and crystal chandeliers hanging overhead set the romantic and glamorous mood for their terrace wedding reception. Guests sat at long tables with acacia garlands and pink and white roses, with pillar candles to add to the romantic ambiance.
Bali Event Styling knows how to set the mood – this Bali destination wedding combined the perfect touches of vintage luxury with local details that reflected the cultural heart of the venue.
