Florentine Opulence for a Gold and Champagne Wedding

Brooke and Damien put their own twist on Florentine opulence for their stunning gold and champagne destination wedding at Villa Cora! The couple, who met on professional networking site LinkedIn purely by chance, celebrated four years in Atlanta together before Damien popped the question in a sweet moment surrounded by both of their families. They were inspired by the trip of a lifetime to set their wedding in Florence, and relied on The Tuscan Wedding to help them pull everything together from a distance. They celebrated their wedding day in lavish Tuscan style, with gorgeous views of the city and a surprise firework send off!

Guests received all of the details for this lavish destination wedding in an opulent cream and gold invitation designed by The Wedding Letters. A custom monogram for the couple was used as the crest to add to the regal style of the stationery!

Brooke picked sparkling accessories to accent her crystal embellished wedding dress.

Brooke absolutely dazzled in a couture wedding dress by Atlanta’s famed Lori Allen! She fell in love with the timeless detailing of the gown, and felt amazing in the figure flattering silhouette.

Hair and makeup artist Cherie Spisso used the timeless elegance of Brooke’s dress as the inspiration for her bridal beauty look, with long wavy hair to accentuate the strapless sweetheart neckline, and elegant makeup with a hint of shimmer. Brooke chose champagne bridesmaid dresses to keep with the luxe color palette for their big day, with white, cream, and blush bouquets designed by Il Giardino delle Fate.

Damien embraced a classic black tie for his wedding day look, with a sleek suit and bow tie!

Their ceremony took place in the garden of Villa Cora, with lush grounds overlooking the Boboli Gardens of Florence. Il Giardino delle Fate accented the classical beauty of the venue with all white decor, from their rose covered ceremony backdrop to the petals leading down the aisle.

Guests and attendants looked stunning in a color scheme of cream, champagne, and taupe!

The couple celebrated the journey of their relationship with by lighting a unity candle to bring together both sides of their families as one. They bound their vows with a hand fasting ceremony in front of their intimate guest list.

After a heartfelt and emotional ceremony, the couple celebrated with a dove release into the Tuscan sky! They made sure to represent their heritage by jumping the broom before they walked down the aisle as husband and wife!

Every occasion to celebrate deserves a champagne tower! The couple invited their guests to toast to their marriage with this lavish and bubbly touch!

The rooftop terrace of Villa Cora provided a panoramic view of Florence for amazing portraits just as the sun began to set! The newlyweds stole a private moment with their photographer, Quattro Studios, to celebrate with the stunning skyline as their backdrop.

The reception for their intimate wedding took place in the villa’s luxurious Mirror Room. To complement the opulent Baroque details throughout the room, The Tuscan Wedding kept their tablescape fairly neutral in color and over the top in style!

Champagne silk tablecloths and classical place settings from Preludio Nolleggio were set along with silver mercury glass votives and flower arrangements in antique vessels. Towering centerpieces dripping with orchids and crystals dominated the center of the table.

Their intimate wedding party was treated to an Italian feast in the stunning Hall of Mirrors to ensure a once in a lifetime experience!

The rose arch for their wedding ceremony made another appearance as the perfect cake table backdrop! Sugarcups Cake Design accented their elegant tiered cake with a halo and topper of sugar roses, while a sequin table linen and glowing votives added just the right touch of glam.

After dancing, Brooke and her mother surprised her new husband with a firework send off to cap off their luxurious wedding day!
