A Fall Boho Luxe Picnic with Pomegranate Champagne

Cheers to the changing seasons! Fall is almost here and this gorgeous pomegranate champagne and cinnamon rose engagement party is the most beautiful way to celebrate a new engagement and the most festive time of year! California wedding photographer Catherine_Leanne captured the amazing jewel tones, from the engaged couple’s red and blue party looks to the rose velvet tablecloth on a bohemian picnic lounge, to the vibrant fresh fruit on the individual desserts and the epic grazing board. Bay Area event planner Pins and Petals made sure every little detail was perfect, from the pomegranate place cards to the bottles of bubbly they used to toast their engagement!

How in sync are these two? For this gorgeous fall engagement party and portrait session, the beautiful couple were on the same style wavelength in jewel tone colors for the season. Our bride-to-be dazzled in a ruffled wrap dress of pomegranate silk, the rich berry color perfectly corresponding with her groom’s navy blue windowpane check suit!

‘Life was meant for good friends and great adventures’, announced the vintage mirror sign with white ink calligraphy by Ellestrations!

Despite their formal dressy looks, the couple and their close friends had a low-key meets boho luxury picnic! Tri-Valley event team Pleasanton Rentals set up a low table with plush rugs and cushions for this fall engagement party on the dunes.

The couple toasted with pomegranate champagne to add a festive fall flavor – the perfect choice for entertaining during autumn!

Pomegranates made a lot of appearances for this festive fall party – not only did they inspire the color scheme and make a splash with the garnished champagne, but Ellestrations even hand-lettered guests’ names onto fresh fruit to serve as pomegranate place cards!

This gorgeous combination of plush cinnamon rose velvet, gold, and natural wood details made the bohemian picnic table a gorgeous place to sit and celebrate! The long dining table was set with lots of luxurious textures, from the pink velvet tablecloth to the gold laser cut place mats, taupe linen napkins, and wood serving plates for the delicious treats!

Each of these personal desserts is a work of art! Individual parfaits in cut crystal bowls served as a gorgeous addition to the richly colored tabletop decor, thanks to the jeweled berries, figs, and pomegranate seeds that adorned the top of the rich custard. A cinnamon stick added the perfect hint of spice to this gorgeous fall dessert!

Danville Cheese took cheeseboards to the next level, including an individual pumpkin bowl of berries, wedges of brie, and charcuterie skewers. In addition to the personalized appetizers, guests could take advantage of the epic grazing board, heaped with fresh fruit, breads, candied nuts, persimmons, and rounds of delicious cheese!

The epic pink baby’s breath chandelier by Floral Design created a gorgeous hanging flower element over the bohemian picnic table, picking up the beautiful shades of rose, cinnamon, and pomegranate in the tablescape and flower arrangements! Tall hurricane lamps added candelight to this outdoor picnic for a cozy glow!

Catherine_Leanne stole the newly engaged couple for sunset portraits, showcasing their gorgeous engagement shoot style as they toasted to their upcoming wedding with pomegranate champagne!
