Warm days are here, and for me that means bright, vivid colors and lots of chic, summery details! That doesn’t mean that other palettes go out of style – today I have some elegant and ethereal neutral wedding ideas for summer!
The jumping off point for this design had to be the bride’s gold laurel crown, with the echoed motif on the cocktail napkin. The golden laurel signified a very classical, elegant look, while monogrammed details in the place setting carried that style into the details. It also set the tone for the palette – sun-washed ivory, cream, and gold – the exact opposite of most exuberant summer palettes.
In order to bring warm weather style to the design, I wanted to tie in traditional summer details – al fresco dining with long, family style tables, floral print, and refreshing cocktails! Delicate shades of cream and gold, with barely-there hints of color and lots of fresh foliage kept details on theme with the ethereal, neutral palette.

So gorgeous. The bride looks like a beautiful fairy. I especially love the green everywhere! Such a great touch!
