An Elvis wedding is symbolic of the old Las Vegas – neon lights, the glitter of the strip, a whimsical marriage ceremony that doesn’t take itself too seriously. Kristen Kay Photography and Sure Thing Chapel wanted to give that image a fresh, modern update and showcase the fine art style of a las Vegas elopement with the most amazing Elvis wedding officiant! This minimalist and elegant elopement inspiration adds the fun to fine art!
The goal behind this shoot was to show a more elegant, minimalist version of a Las Vegas Elopement at the Sure Thing Chapel! The airy loft space is reminiscent of a gallery, with industrial concrete floors and mid century modern lighting accents to blend that desert Nevada style with something clean and fresh!
The romantic little chapel allows couples to bring their own photographer, allowing for options like this airy and romantic fine art film style in the heart of Las Vegas! Mix things up with a quick portrait session at the Neon Museum just down the street!
Flora Pop, a Las Vegas wedding officiant and florist, is famous for her ‘pop-up’ weddings – a fun way of gathering together everything needed to elope but with a personal twist! She created the stunning monochrome bouquets for the brides, combining architectural flowers in crisp white to add a unique touch to each bride’s look.
The wedding dresses from Grey Pearl Bridal Gallery included a structured Anais Anette bridal gown. The minimalist A-line dress combined a plunging neckline and thin straps for a modern twist on a classic silhouette. The Swiss dot overlay added a layered accent to the stunning sheer neckline and open back!
Why not go fine art for Las Vegas! Vegas weddings have long been associated with fun, kitschy elopements, but this stunning shoot showcases the elegant side of an Elvis wedding. The breathtaking portraits by Kristen Kay Photography put the focus on our beautiful couple and their union as they celebrate a minimal and meaningful intimate wedding with just the two of them and their officiant.
With just a few flowers in the brides’ unique bouquets, the focus was on structure and style! Each bride balanced her personal style with a creative bouquet, including a single spray of white anthurium flowers for a unique and modern shape. Tulips, roses, and phalaenopsis orchids were all beautifully architectural flowers to finish off a crisp and geometric bouquet.
Is it really a Las Vegas wedding if Elvis isn’t there? Elvis impersonator Holly Rae tore up the floor with her amazing moves that were worthy of the title of The King1
This amazing Elvis wedding ceremony made for the most memorable wedding day, even with an intimate ceremony for two!
To complement the space, Flora Pop kept the flowers simple, clean, and crisp and played up the gallery-inspired venue!
