Today’s elegant farm wedding from J. Harper Photography is like taking a stroll through New England woods in the summertime: blissful and beautiful! Victoria and Bobby knew Bishop Farm was the ideal venue for their wedding the first time they visited – the natural beauty of the site offered everything they could have envisioned, and the owners welcomed them like old friends. The farm also provided them with a trusted list of preferred vendors – people whose services they vouched for and who knew the site. Their photographer’s familiarity with the grounds was invaluable, and once they found their florist, Emily Herzig Floral Studio, their vision for their wedding truly began to take shape. A phenomenal team was just the start for this couple – Victoria described the collaboration and whole-hearted efforts of their family and friends as the village that it took to pull of their truly spectacular wedding!
Having such an incredibly lovely venue didn’t hurt, to be sure. Their ceremony took place in the lush summer woods of the White Mountains region, with the couple exchanging vows before a birch arbor decorated with delicate, pastel flowers. The soft green, peach, and pink hues were picked up by the bridesmaids’ mint J. Crew dresses and bouquets of garden roses and wildflowers. After portraits in the woods and through the secluded grounds of the Bed and Breakfast on site, Victoria and Bobby rejoined their guests in the farm’s refurbished barn. The historic property had been recently renovated into a truly stunning event space, with a gracefully draped entryway and three grand crystal chandeliers. To add to the already gorgeous lighting, bistro lights were strung over the guest tables, casting a warm glow over centerpieces of wildflowers and roses paired with antique iron lanterns. Guests found their tables – named after favorites from classic literature! – with custom mason jar cocktail glasses that doubled as escort cards and favors.
