I love the mix of edgy and romantic in the bride’s glam bridal style – the dramatic backless wedding dress contrasts clean lines and a stunning cut with shimmering strands of chain mail, while her smokey eyes and bright orange lip are offset by a soft and romantic updo. Bold orange added a pop of brilliant color from the exotic bouquet of birds of paradise and fall berries.

The shoot’s dramatic palette was inspired by the setting at the Highland Dallas. The dark walls and mid century modern details made for a striking canvas to inspired this phenomenal team, adding in vivid pops of color and luxe textures. The elegant courtyard was accented by a floral backdrop of luminous roses amongst lush greenery, adding drama to the sleek marble surroundings. The charcoal and black guest room was ideal for an intimate sweetheart table, with a roaring fire to set the mood. A delicately woven pashmina runner in smokey gray softened the marble table, while the glittering geometric charger and hammered gold flatware added depth and details.
