When it came to finding the right team to dream up the earthy bohemian style of this dreamy wedding shoot, Meraki Wedding Photography and Elizabeth Rose Events turned to local Dorset, UK, wedding pros to capture the feel of the English countryside. Garden flowers, coastal pampas grass, and a gorgeous barn venue at Symondsbury Estate brought together the best of the best when it came to creating an intimate wedding day that exemplified the setting in every detail!
Elizabeth Rose Events wanted to keep the flowers wild and unstructured, with flowers that represented the beauty of the countryside. The bride’s bouquet of white blossoms and greenery beautifully fit that vision!
This floral door installation has to be one of my favorite styling elements ever! It added a dramatic entrance to the Tithe Barn, framing the beautiful arched doors with wild abundance.
How sweet are these two? They embodied modern bohemian style with an English country twist. The bride wore a halter neck Grace Loves Lace, paired with a greenery and flower crown by The English Florist.
The tablescape designed by Elizabeth Rose Events pulled together neutral earthy tones and bolder black and gold elements. The flowing table runner provided the perfect base against the handmade wooden table, with a sweeping floral centerpiece featuring understated color tones and plenty of greenery. Modern and minimalist gold candle holders with classic off-white candles added some opulence to the tablescape. The crockery featured mottled detailing around the edges in order to break up the contrast of the cream crockery on the wooden table. With beautiful handmade paper and an elegant mix of calligraphy and type, the menus and place cards by Gemma Milly softened the whole feel of the tablescape. Delicate napkins draped in various ways for each place setting and a bold and modern, matte black cutlery set, added the finishing touches.
In keeping with the airy and minimalist feel of the shoot, the cake by Lisa Notley Cake was a pared back creation with subtle details and delicate sugar leaves.
Meraki Wedding Photography captured the most incredible portraits of these two on the Dorset coast! The full skirt of the bride’s Grace Loves Lace moved beautifully in the sea breeze, and the pampas grass in her bouquet added to the coastal feel of the styling!
