I’m so excited about today’s modern metallic inspiration! I love the contrast of the soft, feather dusty miller against hammered copper for an unexpected combination. Dusty miller makes for a wonderful, textural addition to bouquets and centerpieces, but it also makes a great floral alternative with its lush, silvery foliage. The beaten copper details add warmth to anywhere it’s needed – shining vessels for centerpieces, brushed metallic details on a simple cake, and jewelry for bridesmaids! Soft slate blue makes for an unexpected accent color, but how beautifully does it pair with the pale silver and warm copper?
The palette is warm and inviting, but the eclectic pairing and modern details allows it to work in a variety of spaces. Copper is an automatic match for the relaxed atmosphere of a brewery or winery, while the softer colors can add a touch of romance to an industrial space. Metallic tones pair perfectly with the warmth of brick or rich wood, adding in the option of a barn or other rustic venue. The slate and silver tones can be a wonderful match for a more traditional ballroom or garden wedding, livened up by the gleam of copper accents!
