Sugar sand beaches and crystal water created a gorgeous setting for Liza and Ryan island wedding off the coast of Florida, but their choice of venue was as heartfelt as it was beautiful! The natural beauty of Anna Maria Island inspired the tropical colors and elegant simplicity of their beach wedding, but their love for each other is what makes every moment truly shine! Florida wedding photographers, Everence Photography managed to capture the sweetness and soul in this luminous Real Wedding Day in paradise!
Dreamy Island Wedding in Fuchsia and Dusty Blue
These adventurous souls met in college and it didn’t take long for them to be sure they wanted to build a life together! Music Business classes brought them together during their studies, so it was only fitting that their wedding day have a perfect soundtrack. The couple picked key songs together to create the mood for their big day, but were surprised when they each selected a song by Sleeping at Last to be a part of their ceremony! An impromptu and personal ‘first dance’ to Adele’s ‘Rolling in the Deep’ gave them a chance to steal an intimate moment after the ceremony and before they joined their guests – when they took to the dance floor, it was to ‘As Much As I Ever Could’ by City & Colour.
Liza and Ryan envisioned their wedding day as intimate, natural, and simple to suit the island setting. Anna Maria Island held special meaning for Liza’s family, making it the perfect location to celebrate with their close friends and family. A no-swim beach on the Southern coast offered a near private setting for their ceremony, with the bonus of sugar sand beaches and gorgeously turquoise water. Liza looked every inch the boho beach bride in a romantically draped gown by Something Blue – the picturesque open back of her wedding dress was lined with lace to flutter in the sea breeze. Florist Beneva embraced the tropical vibe by creating a statement bouquet of bougainvillea and peonies, with a charming rose crown to accent the bride’s low key updo. Her bridesmaids selected individual dresses in shades of dusty blue from BHLDN, Lulu’s, and Show Me Your Mumu to create a stylish and mismatched bridal party and a gorgeous color palette! Ryan embraced his chance to dress up as well, with a stylish white suit and black tie from Savile Row Company!
After their intimate beach ceremony, where the couple exchanged vows and tears in a driftwood and greenery ring on the sand, guests adjourned to Pier 22 to escape a sudden rainstorm. Their venue was more than prepared and managed to create a cozy indoor reception at the last minute, filled with flowers, candlelight, and – of course – more music!
