Classic wedding day style gets a new twist in the desert sunshine in today’s stunning shoot from As Ever Photography! Jennifer of As Ever teamed up with Nhiya Kaye Photography (whose gorgeous work will be gracing the blog soon!) to create a shoot that combined effortlessly beautiful wedding styling with simple. clean details and the breathtaking backdrop of the Utah desert. Real couple (and seriously gorgeous people) Jessica and Colton would not look out of place in the chicest of ballrooms with her floral lace wedding dress and delicately jeweled headpiece and his pale gray suit, yet they look right at home in the rugged landscape. The sweet pink and green color scheme of the shoot was picked up in Jessica’s bouquet of sunset colored dahlias and local succulents.
The clean, fresh table design picked up that palette, as well as adding more nods to the magnificent natural landscape. More succulents in clear cylinders of sand adorned a simple white linen, or nestled into pink depression glass cups. Woven chargers echoed the tawny velvet grass of the desert planes, softened by delicate floral china. The floral pattern was recreated for the botanical inspired invitations and stationery suite – simple and modern, but utterly romantic! The hand-drawn print makes a lovely accent to the minimalist table design, represented so beautifully in the crisp white cake with simple succulent adornments.
