I have officially called it – deep red and burgundy are the colors of winter that year, and I can think of no better example than Ashley and Raul’s dramatic 1930’s inspired red and gray wedding! Ashley incorporated the creamy red hues into gorgeous accents throughout their big day – the vintage inspired invitation suite, technicolor florals by Garden Party Floral Design, the groomsmens’ boutonnieres – but my personal favorite has to be her fabulously rich lip stain. Along with her handmade lace veil and vintage marcasite jewelry, the sultry red lips gave her every appearance of 30’s film star. Her customized Pronovias gown was the perfect silhouette for her chic bridal look!
The chic details didn’t stop there – clusters of red and burgundy flowers in antique milk glass vessels were wrapped in striped ribbon to echo Ashley’s gorgeous bridal bouquet, or placed along the aisle to provide bright pops of color as she walked to Raul.
