Imagine taking the golden sunlight and lingering warmth of an end of summer day, and managing to capture it on film. That’s exactly what Ashley Noelle Edwards and Mignon Floral Co accomplished with this creative shoot, filled with natural gold grasses, dried flowers, and organic drama. Incredible installations of preserved flowers added luxurious texture to this Sacramento manor house, while the bride’s natural beauty shone through with the deft skills of Christi Reynolds Beauty.
This Trumpet & Horn oval diamond engagement ring is all the sparkle needed! The stunning jeweled facets against silk ribbon and dried flowers made for a gorgeous blend of textures.
This elegant bouquet by Mignon Floral Co used beautifully preserved and dried flowers to create a warm neutral palette. Dried phalaris grass and millet grain added unexpected textures to the larkspur stems, rosebuds, and seed pods to evoke the end of summer and the blooming season.
Hair stylist and makeup artist Christi Reynolds Beauty let the bride’s natural beauty shine! The softly blushing makeup added a subtle glow to the lovely Jaclyn, and the updo showcased her natural curls.
To create a statement ceremony backdrop with nothing but dried grasses, Mignon Floral Co combined pampas grass, bleached Stardust Gypsophila, preserved Congo grass, and dried wild oats into a river of texture.
Preserved floral buttons and natural dried everlastings added starry details to the fronds of globe amaranth in the bride’s bouquet!
Sacramento baker Sevacha Cake drew inspiration from harvest bounties for this incredible cake! The offset oval layers gave a tiered cake unique and modern shape, and the sugar flower topper included strands of wheat along with ivory roses!
Wooden candleholders and subtle clouds of dried hydrangeas added organic elements to the mantelpiece cake display.
Christi Reynolds Beauty added a hint of rich color to the antique gold, amber, and cream of the dried grass installation by pumping up the bride’s lipstick with this blood orange.
The dramatic makeup look transformed along with the bride’s dramatic going away attire! Before heading off for her tropical honeymoon, she slipped into this BHLDN jumpsuit, pairing the bold lip color with statement tassel earrings and a chic black hat for the perfect travel chic!
