A Portland Wedding with Unique Style
Creative PNW Style for a Portland Wedding
It wouldn’t be a Portland wedding without a twist on a traditional wedding dress! Layers of tulle in their Arista Gown creates a cloud of a ballgown, all with a dreamy yet unconventional wedding dress color.
The taupe tulle ruffled skirt and flutter sleeves were a gorgeous complement to the iron beams and enormous picture windows overlooking downtown from the venue. Emerald green was the perfect color for a Pacific Northwest wedding, adding rich jewel tones to the arrangements Copper Blossom Design created for the ceremony decor – geometric gold stands held freeform decorations of white and orange flowers with greenery and dried grasses.
If concrete floors and exposed beams equal the wedding venue of your dreams, the industrial wedding style at Easton Broad makes it the downtown Portland place to be!
Event rental team Party Place PDX dressed the Sweetheart Table for the bride and groom in emerald green and black accents. Black taper candles, smoky quartz glasses, and matte flatware added rich color to the eclectic flower and dried grass centerpieces.
The one tiered cake by Hedonish Desserts drew inspiration from modern art! The emerald green brushstroke pattern added rich color to white buttercream and edible gold leaf details.
What Portland wedding would be complete without a photo session downtown? These sweet portraits captured the buzz and PNW energy of the city pulsing just outside the venue doors.
If minimalist bridal style is more your look, this simple crepe wedding dress by Made with Love Bridal ditches layers and frills for a fitted silhouette and a low back!
The curve hugging wedding dress also features buttons down the back and a long train, which was gorgeously accented with a pearl capelet.
We’ll be able to celebrate like this again one day! The long white tables were transformed from standard venue rentals to a fresh new take on a wedding reception thanks to curved-back white wood chairs and bright green napkins to add a pop of color! The long tables were set with amber bottles that served as bud vases for petite flower arrangements.
What would Portland wedding be without local beer and craft cocktails? The bar served up Portland Cider Company, locally brewed kombucha, and Pacific Northwest wineries to keep it all in the area!
Lounging around has never looked so good as this vintage green velvet couch – clear acrylic tables added a fun modern finish!
