When it comes to the perfect backdrop for a bohemian bridal shoot, there really is no place as magical as Joshua Tree! This stunning desert landscape and national park draws couples from all around the world, thanks to the unique and distinctive colors of the sun baked stretches of sand and the tufted trees that give the area its name. J.Emmanuel Photography and Areli Event Design used the colors of the desert sunset to inspire their color palette for this gorgeous desert bridal session and elopement inspiration, combining neutral shades with terra cotta, rust, and sage green. A fabulous indie bridal gown, caramel suit for the groon, and eclectic floral arrangements chosen to suit the desert were the perfect finishing touches to this stunning intimate wedding in the desert!
Bohemian Desert Bridal Shoot
When it comes to find the perfect bohemian wedding dress, Rue de Seine is the designer to beat! Their indie Avril gown featured an eye-catching crochet lace pattern on the long sleeves and dramatic train. The gorgeous nude lining was a stunning match for the groom’s brown three piece suit.
How gorgeous is this light! J.Emmanuel Photography used the golden sunshine beaming over Joshua Tree to capture stunning desert bridal photos of this boho couple.
Rental company Honeywood Events set a table for two under some of the Joshua Trees that make the landscape such a unique place. The intimate elopement Sweetheart Table combined dark wood with Mid Century blue velvet chairs. The macrame woven table runners and hand lettered terra cotta place cards picked up the desert shades of burnt orange, sage green, and pampas grass in Areli Event Design‘s gorgeous floral installations! The eclectic flower arrangements included ‘preserved copper beech, dahlias, banksias, lisianthus, and amaranths’, while wooden florals added a neutral touch to complete their gorgeous color palette.
