Cozy Coastal Elopement in Seaside Shades of Blue and Gray

Come away to the coast with this cozy coastal elopement inspiration dreamed up by Ivory White Photography and The Wildflower Wedding Planner. They had the most perfect beach day, with a mirrored sea showcasing the incandescent colors that inspired the hues of the shoot! Soft blue and gray shades went into the flowers, silk linens, and stunning hand crafted cake, accented by a modern geometric arch that perfectly framed the horizon for the waterside ceremony and an intimate beach picnic set for two.

Florist Passionflowers by Emma Spowage went for the most delicate of coastal colors when she created the bride’s lovely bouquet, starting with all white flowers and adding subtle shades of blue and blush to capture the hints of the water. Trailing ribbons from Silk and Purl mimicked the roll of the waves and added gorgeous movement in the breeze!

The bride opted for a chicly bohemian wedding day look with a lace crop top and flowing skirt from Suzanne Harrington Bride. The tulle skirt added elegance to the flutter sleeves and delicate detailing of the embroidered lace top, and moved beautifully in the wind to capture the sweetest portraits! Beachy waves were a perfect pick for her hairstyle, with a beautiful headpiece from Rachel Sokhal Bridal to play off the simplicity of the look.

Natural backdrops can be the best, and with the view of the dunes and waves from the Essex shore, it wasn’t necessary to go over the top. The geometric wooden arch gave the beach the perfect finishing touch, framing the bride and groom against the horizon.  Passionflowers by Emma Spowage adorned the modern structure with a burst of flowers, foliage, and pampas grass that looked as though they could have grown among the sea grass.

Cozy seating was a must for this intimate elopement, so Anthology Vintage Hire set a low picnic table on the sand and surrounded it in cushions and blankets. Groupings of pastel spring flowers adorned the blue silk table runner, with pillar candles to add a little height.

Egg and Moo’s created the stunning wedding cake, creating a wave-like effect breaking over the four tiers with handcrafted pale blue sugar flowers and a beautiful flowing silk ribbon for a finishing touch.
