For this shoot at Lone Oak Barn in Austin, Texas, Tim Kyle Photography combined the unabashed rustic beauty of the barn with some incredible gowns from Signature Bridal Salon. The country glam style they were looking to create led to the pairing on one truly spectacular ruffed wedding dress with – what else – a pair of cowboy boots! The combination was a perfect fit for the location, which just happens to be a barn venue specifically designed to hold events and with few close neighbors to raise a fuss about late night music. Unlike most working barns, this particular space was designed and dedicated to hold events, so it’s both authentic and prepared to accommodate guests with ease and grace.

The space manages to be both grand and inviting, exactly the atmosphere you’d want in a barn wedding! The high-timbered ceilings evoke a traditional barn loft, while rustic, wrought iron chandeliers cast glowing light over the warm, stucco walls. The surrounding thirty acre space makes for beautiful portraits, and Tim Kyle Photography took full advantage of the enormous wooden swing and rolled hay bales for the perfect cowgirl bridal portraits!
