Costa del Sol Sunset Engagement on a Sailboat

It’s hard to imagine a more romantic place to propose than this Marbella engagement on the Costa del Sol! After Mario surprised Kristi with by getting down on one knee, he whisked her away for an intimate sailboat ride off the coast of Spain. It was a picture perfect proposal thanks to GG Weddings Marbella, who planned every detail, and Bloomfield Photography, who made sure the newly engaged couple would have portraits to treasure for a lifetime!

The couple prepared for a sail and a portrait session with Bloomfield Photography while enjoying the Costa del Sol. The luxe holiday destination is one of their favorite getaways and Mario had something planned to make it even more special!

Chic Engagement Style for a Coastal Sailboat Engagement

In preparation for their ‘photo shoot’, hair and makeup artist Wallis Estilistas gave Kristi beachy waves and picked up the soft pinks of her bouquet by Anais Floristas!

Shooting engagement portraits while sailing on the “Olivia” allowed Bloomfield Photography to keep the focus on Mario and Kristi, with nothing to distract but the Mediterranean sea and the horizon beyond. The incredible film portraits made the most of the evening light, picking up the dreamy palette of sea green and sky blue in lovely tones.
